Perhaps, it is the basic duty of a Vaisnava or yogi under the Sanatana Dharma and/or Varnasrama Dharma to help lessen the gap between the rich and the poor, to lessen the burden of those in dire need or those living in poverty. It is a matter of doing our part in our own small ways, thus making a difference in our own small ways. NAMASTE.
